What makes life in El Bosque so special?

Connection with Nature

We designed our community to preserve the natural sanctuary of the property: our conservation management plan has the simple objective of promoting biodiversity in El Bosque and beyond. Only 25% of the entire site will be built upon, and the rest will remain undeveloped land that all residents, including our animal friends, can easily access and enjoy freely. Our network of trails throughout the property makes it easy to move safely about the site and connect deeply with the natural life around us.

Shared Amenities

While homes in El Bosque are intended as a place for retreat and contemplation, our amenities provide gathering spaces for shared experience. This is a community where you’ll definitely want to meet your neighbors.

El Bosque’s Community Hub will offer a family pool as well as gathering places for kids and adults to socialize, play games, and experience nature together. 

Easy Beach Access

El Bosque’s Baker Beach Station makes it easy to enjoy the sand and waves with the kids, or take a surf or walk on your own. A relaxed 10 minute walk from our beachside gate, this private community amenity will offer residents a convenient place to park EVs, hydrate, grab surfboards, and get in the water.

Walkability

El Bosque is designed as a car-free community. Fossil fuel vehicles will be parked at the entrance of the property, and only EVs and bikes will be used on the internal roads. The happy result is that residents (humans and animals) will enjoy a quiet and safe walking environment through the majestic, native palms and mature trees that define the landscape.

Smart Infrastructure

We have designed the “nuts and bolts” of the community to blend in and harmonize with the natural ecosystem, while ensuring that residents have all they need for reliability and convenience. Utilities like electricity and network cables are buried to shelter them from the elements, and to protect wildlife throughout the site. Drinking water is sourced from our own well, and stormwater is managed by beautifully constructed swales, which mitigate runoff and give rainwater the chance to slow down and soak into the ground before reaching the sea.

Support & Security

On-site staff will be available to support El Bosque residents with essential services like internal transportation, deliveries, and maintenance of shared spaces. With our years of experience operating the Harmony Hotel, we have extensive knowledge of how to get things done in Nosara.

Safety is one of our top priorities, and we understand the challenge of feeling connected, but also secure. We will have a dedicated team of welcoming rangers with extensive knowledge of our community at each entrance, and traditional security services will also be present during overnight hours. 

Community Stability

El Bosque’s core values of beauty, community and conservation are protected through our progressive governance.  A home-owners’ association will manage comprehensive design and lifestyle guidelines to ensure that the peaceful character and quality of life in El Bosque is carefully maintained.

As a condominium community, we have implemented carefully planned zoning to protect our property from issues like unplanned subdivision, or the unpredictable noise and disruption of commercial development.
