Welcome Friends

Hello.

We’re glad you’re here. After years of dreaming, studying, and planning (often in conversation with many of you), we are getting to experience the physical beginning of the Bosque community!

We understand that buying a new home is a big step for anyone, especially when it is in a distant location. We have endeavored to make the process as clear as possible, and have assembled a knowledgeable local team to ensure you have all the support you need throughout the process. Our intention is to make it easy for you to begin living the life of your dreams in Nosara.

Our Community

El Bosque presents an opportunity to live in nature alongside friends who share a vision of what life in Nosara can be. It’s the neighborhood we’ve always wanted to be in together: one that preserves open space, minimizes the need for cars, sparks intense creativity, and inspires kids of all ages to play in the forest and gaze at the stars.

The foundation of the community is our commitment to knowing the site and understanding our impact within natural systems. Based on our years of study and research, we have developed our master plan to ensure we build and live lightly on the land, while preserving biodiversity and contributing to the well-being of our local community.

Our Approach

Home Sites

We have arranged El Bosque home sites based on the comprehensive analysis of our site studies, as well as the natural characteristics and flow of the property. Each of the 41 home sites offers its own unique sense of place within the community.

Our portfolio of homes was developed in collaboration with a diverse group architects, with each office assigned a specific group of sites. Following our design program and guidelines, they developed solutions that respect the nature of the site while creating spaces of beauty, comfort and connection for daily life in the dry tropical forest.

This is a place of wilderness and adventure…and magic. Take a look around El Bosque to see what we are creating, and get to know some of the amazing plant and animal life that surrounds us. (This is a northern tamandua we saw on site recently - it’s a medium-sized anteater found in tropical forests from southern Mexico through Central America.)
